I read this book in celebration of Hispanic Heritage month and I felt like this was perfect to read prior to NaNoWriMo! This book is inspiring, lyrical, and has hints of magical realism throughout the book. This book was like drinking a warm cup of manzanilla and it brought me comfort through the difficult moments I had this month and that is magic for me.
2…When the Moon Was Ours
I haven’t read this book but I think this book looks like magical realism perfection! Not only is this book written by a Latinx author but it also involves witches! Even though, this could be considered more of a Halloweenie read this could also be a cozy little fall read. I am holding on for dear life to my fall reads till the last day of fall!
3…Analee, in Real Life

I am Cuban American and I am highly anticipating reading it this week since I will meet the Janelle Milanes at the Miami Book Fair this month! Even though I have read my share of Latinx reads, I have never read a book with a teenage Cuban American MC before!
I will tag…
