The Bookish Fairy

Young adult, magical realism, and every book in between infused with fairy dust...

Netflix and Chill with To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

March 31, 2018

On March 21st, I was casually scrolling to my Instagram when I stumbled to Jenny Hans profile and squealed to myself when I saw this!

Netflix is acquiring the rights to the much-anticipated movie To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before!!! Read about it here!!!

Last summer I was introduced to the world of Lara Jean and have never looked back! The trilogy sucked me into the adorableness and quirkiness known as Lara Jean Covey and the Song sisters! This story spoke to my teenage soul (Even though I am a 30-something-year-old woman….) and I am convinced that Lara Jean and I could be best friends!

The basic synopsis of the book is about a girl named Lara Jean who writes secret love letters to boys that she has had crushes on and one day those letters get mysteriously sent out! This is when the fun and chaos begins! Peter Kavinsky is one of the guys that receives her love letters and he is the dreamboat jock that everyone wants to be with and be seen with. He is that guy that you love to hate but hate to love! Peter is that guy you want to kick but then kiss at the same time! Confusing I know but read my book review about it here!

Bookstagram!

Reading the trilogy To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is like a cozy little cat blankie that I just want to snuggle with every time and to say that I am excited about the Summer 2018 release is an understatement! I don’t know about you but I am so ready to #NetflixandChill with Lara Jean and the Song sisters this summer! Comment below and let me know your thoughts about the summer release of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before! Have you read these books? What do you think of them? I would love to hear your thoughts! xxoo meow

I will leave you now with my cat @charliechuchi with his cozy cat blankie!
